Delete your WORDZUP account

You can delete your WORDZUP account and its data at any time.

In the app

1. Open WORDZUP and go to the home screen.
2. Tap Settings at the bottom.
3. Tap Privacy & account.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account, then confirm.

Without the app

Email hello@playwordzup.com from the Google email you use in WORDZUP, with the subject “Delete my WORDZUP account”. We will reply to confirm and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in account, name, photo and profile details (status, location text, age range, gender)
• Your friends list, blocked list, invites, invite code and rewards
• Notification tokens, settings and online status
• Your scores, level, hints, trophies and Daily Word scores

What may be kept

• Messages you already sent to other players, and finished match records they took part in, may stay visible to them without your name or photo.
• Google AdMob keeps ad data under Google's privacy policy; you can reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
• Backups are cleared within 30 days.
